  1. They are very good looking bikes aren’t they? I am curious as to why they decided to spec a triple ring crankset rather than a dual ring plus bashguard. It is a long travel freeride bike after all.

  2. hello, I’m Philippe of the south of France. I wish to change my bike and the trek scratch seems to be the product that I seek. Is there someone who can give me the weight of the 2 versions scratch? Thank in advances

  3. Trek actually offers 4 models of the scratch. 2 with coil shocks and 2 with air.Weights are as follows
    Scratch air 6 – 31.96lbs
    Scratch air 8 – 32.10lbs
    Scratch 7 – 34.5lbs
    Scratch 9 – 34lbs

The coil shock bikes do come with 2 ring, bash, and chainguide stock

    hope this helps
